Woodside, California is a quaint suburb of San Francisco, halfway between downtown and the beach. The population was 5,287 as of the 2010 census. 

Woodside is one of the most affluent small towns in the entire country. Charles Schwab and the late Steve Jobs made their home in Woodside. Residents and visitors ride horses around town, which gives the neighborhood a much different feel than other neighborhoods. Huddart County Park is a great place to hold a picnic on a sunny afternoon, and Wunderlich Park offers great hiking and biking trails. 

The Filoli Estate is a popular destination in Woodside because it is where many popular movies were filmed, such as The Wedding Planner, Heaven Can Wait, and one scene in the musical Rent.
